The Tracer Pack: G'Day Bait for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 has finally dropped, and players are buzzing about it. For those who haven’t seen it yet, this pack introduces a unique Australian-themed aesthetic, complete with vibrant, neon-colored tracer rounds and a bunch of exclusive cosmetics. As someone who’s been following the series for a while, I’m really impressed by how Treyarch continues to push the boundaries of what a cosmetic pack can be.
The pack comes with a flashy skin, a new weapon blueprint, and the aforementioned tracer rounds that give your shots a glowing, vibrant color. But what stands out to me is the attention to detail on the character skins – they’re more than just some cool clothes; the characters actually wear gear inspired by Australian wildlife and culture. It’s a fun change from the typical military styles we usually see, and it adds a little bit of personality to the game.
On top of that, the "G'Day Bait" title alone is hilarious. It definitely fits the fun-loving, "Aussie" vibe of the cosmetics. The colors and animations are vibrant, and there’s even a new emote where you toss a kangaroo pouch grenade! However, some players are already raising concerns about whether these packs are crossing into "pay-to-win" territory, with certain cosmetic items boosting visibility or distracting from enemy players. What do you all think?
